I came to college advising when my own daughter went through the process. Even as a college professor, I was surprised how involved the process was, how much guidance was needed and how much it had all changed over the decades. In this hyper-competitive environment, students need to find a way to stand out with a compelling narrative. Who better to help with this type of creative direction than a theatre professor?!  My work as a professor and as a professional in theatre, film and advertising has proved an excellent foundation for successful guidance in the college admissions arena. Since then, I have helped several students to admissions at a range of reach, target and likely schools allowing them to choose the best fit among great options.

I personally have studied at a small liberal arts college, a large state university and at Oxford University, and I have children studying at T10/Ivy League schools, so I see value in a wide variety of campus experiences. I am the parent of students from two different STEM magnet programs (and a STEM kid myself), I am a classically trained singer and parent to a classically trained instrumentalist, and I have helped recruited student athletes and worked with professional athletes on communication skills. I would love to apply my breadth of experiences to help you through this process.
